Agility is non-negotiable in kabaddi. Here, I'm running a Pro Kabaddi League player through a series of agility drills using cones to improve his change of direction speed and reaction time before the season.

About this collection

In professional leagues, we do not have months to prepare. We have weeks. When I assess a player, I immediately look for specific mechanical inefficiencies, like poor landing mechanics that lead to ACL injuries or slow reaction times in defense. We fix those gaps using heart rate monitoring and sport-specific drills, not just random gym sets.

Beyond the Gym Floor

Sports performance is not just about lifting heavier; it is about moving smarter. My approach to athletic performance coaching is rooted in my MSc in Exercise Physiology. When I work with a kabaddi player or a competitive tennis athlete in Bengaluru, I am not just creating a workout plan. I am managing a system.

Data-Driven Training

  • Assessment: Every program starts with a movement analysis to identify imbalances.
  • Load Monitoring: We use heart rate data to track fatigue. This tells us when to push intensity and when to prioritize recovery, which is critical for avoiding burnout during long tournament seasons.
  • Sport-Specific Drills: For kabaddi players, we focus on reaction time and explosive change of direction. For tennis athletes, we emphasize rotational power and ankle stability for court mobility.

Injury Prevention & Nutrition

My primary goal is to keep you in the game. I incorporate specific plyometric training to strengthen ligaments and tendons, specifically focusing on knee safety. As a dietitian, I integrate macro-nutrient timing into your daily schedule. This ensures you have the energy for high-intensity training and the nutrients required for muscle repair. We do not rely on magic pills or fad diets; we rely on bloodwork analysis and evidence-based supplementation protocols.

FAQ for Athletes

How does your training differ from general personal training? General fitness focuses on aesthetics or general health. My performance coaching focuses on athletic output—your speed, power, agility, and injury resilience.

Do you provide online coaching for athletes? Yes. While I coach in-person at my Srirampura facility, I offer remote programming that includes video technique reviews and weekly check-ins to monitor your progress effectively.

Can you help with weight management for my sport? Absolutely. I work with athletes to manage weight for competition readiness while maintaining strength and performance levels.
