Science-Based Athletic and Performance Coaching

I focus on physiology, not fads. Whether you are a professional athlete or a fitness enthusiast in Bengaluru, my coaching is built on data, assessments, and proven science.

As the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Team Dietitian for the U.P. Yoddhas in the Pro Kabaddi League, my work is regularly featured on networks like Star Sports. This is a testament to the professional, high-stakes level of coaching I provide.

Strength is the foundation of all athletic performance. Here I am executing a heavy deadlift, a core movement in my powerlifting-informed training philosophy that builds total-body power and resilience.

My coaching extends to junior athletes destined for greatness. Here I am with a client who became a J300 (JB1) doubles champion in tennis, showcasing how my strength and conditioning programs translate to victory on the court.

I don't believe in bro-science. In this video, I debunk the unscientific concept of body types like 'endomorph' and 'ectomorph', explaining why this theory has been widely discredited. My coaching is based on evidence, not myths.

This video gives you a glimpse into my role as an S&C coach and dietitian in the Pro Kabaddi League. I explain in Hindi how crucial fitness and nutrition are for player performance and how we manage their training during the long season.

Beyond just strength, I also coach for aesthetics and natural bodybuilding. This is a look at the physique conditioning required for competition, focusing on muscle definition, symmetry, and posing.

Crunches and leg raises are not the most effective way to build core stability. I demonstrate functional core exercises like Pallof holds and suitcase carries that build true anti-rotation strength, which is critical for athletes.

About this collection

Most people start training by copying a random PDF or what a YouTuber does. When you train with me, we start with a proper assessment. We track your heart rate, monitor your training load to avoid burnout, and adjust your plan based on actual performance data. It is not about doing more; it is about doing what your body actually needs to get stronger.

Why Science Matters in Fitness

There is a lot of misinformation in the fitness industry, from 'somatotype' myths to fad diets that do not work. My approach is entirely different because it is rooted in exercise physiology, not social media trends. I hold an MSc in Exercise Physiology and have applied this knowledge on the biggest stages, including as a Head S&C Coach in the Pro Kabaddi League.

My Methodology

When we work together, we stop guessing. My programming for clients at Alpha Bodyworks in Srirampura—and for my online athletes—follows a rigorous process:

  • Detailed Assessment: Before you touch a weight, we identify your specific strengths and weaknesses.
  • Data-Driven Training: We use heart rate monitoring and load management to ensure you are training hard, not just training tired.
  • Injury Prevention: We focus on biomechanics, landing techniques, and functional movement to keep you durable for the long term.
  • Performance Nutrition: As a dietitian, I integrate your macro-nutrient timing with your training volume, so you are fueled to perform, not just eating to lose weight.

Whether you are a junior tennis champion looking for that extra edge or someone who wants to understand the science behind building muscle and losing fat, my programs are built to remove the guesswork. You get a plan tailored to your specific physiology, not a copy-paste routine.

I am Naresh, and I believe fitness is a science, not a debate. I have spent my career moving from the lab to the professional league, teaching athletes how to actually get stronger rather than just working harder. If you are tired of generic plans and want a strategy built on physiology, let’s talk.
