This is Kerala’s best-kept secret, the Pothichoru. Hot red rice mingling with the banana leaf, a little bit of spice, and ginger chutney make for a beautiful life. It's simple, sustainable, and seriously delicious.

A Pothichoru is a culinary gem, both traditional and relevant. From the drama of unwrapping the banana leaf to the explosion of flavours inside, every bite is a journey back home.

The banana leaf in a Pothichoru isn't just for packaging. When hot food is placed on it, the leaf releases polyphenols, which are great antioxidants. It’s a true amalgamation of science and tradition.

This is our Amma's Pothichoru, a special for you. It's filled with steaming hot rice, Mambhazha Pulisseri, red amaranth thoran, and yam stir-fry, all rested to let the flavours meld into a mélange of awesome taste.

In gifting others, we lift ourselves. We believe in gifting a Pothi, a parcel packed with wholesomeness, home-style flavours, and a lot of love.

About Pothichoru: A Meal Wrapped in Tradition

When we pack your Pothichoru, we do it the traditional way by wilting the banana leaf over an open flame first. This makes the leaf pliable and releases natural polyphenols that act as antioxidants, while the residual heat keeps your rice, curry, and sides moist and flavourful for hours.
