The Onam Grand Feast

There are no rules when it comes to enjoying a Sadya, especially for the little ones. It's about exploring flavours, from the crunch of a pappadam to the sweetness of payasam, and creating your own delicious memories.

Onam is a conversation between generations. Here, I'm sharing stories behind each dish, from the superfood moringa to the classic cabbage thoran, keeping the tradition alive and passing it on.

Here you can see the two souls of my Onam offering. The top row showcases the classic vegetarian curries, while the bottom row features the hearty thorans and a crispy cutlet from my UnSadya® menu.

The heart of any Sadya is the interplay of its curries. A classic Sambar, a creamy Pulisseri, and a tangy Raw Mango Curry, each poured over red rice, create a new flavour symphony with every bite.

My Superfood Veg Sadya is a celebration of Kerala's bounty. Here you see a colourful lineup of thorans (stir-fried vegetables with coconut) and a cooling pachadi, each packed with nutrition and authentic taste.

The experience begins with these small but mighty accompaniments. Tangy pickles, sweet and spicy chutneys, crunchy banana chips, and a crispy pappadam awaken the palate for the feast to come.

A Sadya is a performance of flavours, and this is the grand stage. A dancer, adorned in traditional attire, enjoys the feast, embodying the art and culture that is woven into every dish.

This is my UnSadya® in all its glory. A traditional vegetarian spread is complemented by a perfectly fried fish and a flavourful chicken roast, offering the best of both worlds on one banana leaf.
