About Our Studio: People & Press
At Maze Concept, we don't work in silos. Our studio culture is built on a 'learn-as-you-go' philosophy, where our team of architects and designers actively participates from the initial concept sketches to the final site execution. We prioritize being 'site-smart,' which means we are as comfortable refining material samples on our desks as we are troubleshooting unexpected construction challenges directly at the project venue.
Our studio is a collection of creative minds, led by us, Priyanka and Koushik. We transitioned from working out of our home to a dedicated studio space precisely because we wanted to foster a collaborative environment where our team has the freedom to experiment.
Recognition and Awards
We were deeply honored to receive the 'Best Young Practices Architecture' award from the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) at the Antarya Awards. This recognition validates our approach—creating spaces that are not just visually striking but narratively grounded. Being featured in the FOAID coffee table book and various design magazines has been a journey, but our greatest satisfaction comes from the tangible outcomes: the homes that feel like sanctuaries and the restaurants that define a local vibe.
How We Operate
Whether we are working on a turnkey interior project or a full-scale architectural build, our process is transparent and people-centric. We believe that a design firm should be approachable. Our studio is the hub where we translate client stories into tangible materials—fluted glass, brass accents, and custom-designed tiles. When you work with us, you are engaging with a team that values open communication, architectural integrity, and the shared excitement of seeing a design come to life.
