Our Design Approach
We never look at a surface as just a finish. For us, every product - whether a ceramic tile or a piece of furniture - is a chance to tell a story. We chase textures, patterns, and forms that evoke memories. Most days, you’ll find us experimenting with materials, always trying to catch their real character.
Nostalgia on Walls: Board Game Tiles
One of our favourite projects was bringing Indian board games like Pallankuli and Carrom to life as modular board game tiles. We abstracted their patterns into ceramic designs, so you can mix and match for floors, walls, and inlays. The Pallankuli tiles flow with soft curves and earthy hues; the Carrom tiles bring crisp lines and bold colours, all echoing the games we grew up playing.
Collaboration & Customisation
We thrive on collaborative furniture design. Working with craftspeople in Bangalore and beyond, we obsess over details to create pieces that feel personal and elevate every corner. If you want something nobody else has, we’re up for it.
Material Playground
Our go-to materials include terrazzo (for the old-school charm with a modern twist), fluted and tinted glass, and classic glass bricks. We also love textured wall finishes - from distressed plaster to natural stone. We play with everything from Kota to Jaisalmer marble, mixing things up for that lived-in vibe.

My Story
We’re Priyanka and Koushik, co-founders of Maze Concept. We just love making spaces that feel like home, or a restaurant buzzing with the vibe we imagined. This year, our Maze Concept Build got rolling – so now we take projects from sketch to reality. Our first big turnkey restaurant in Indiranagar? What a ride! We even designed tiles inspired by childhood games like Pallankuli and Carrom – nostalgia in every piece. For us, it’s all about the stories behind the walls.
My Work
End-to-end Design & Build - We handle architecture, interiors, and lifestyle design for homes, restaurants, and shops. Now, with Maze Concept Build, we do turnkey projects too.
Collaborative Bespoke Spaces - We team up with artists, furniture folks, lighting wizards – anyone who brings creative energy. The result? Spaces that feel one-of-a-kind.
Storytelling Architecture - Every project starts with a story – maybe Goan village vibes for a café, or bold, eccentric homes. We dive deep into your narrative.
Material Play - We experiment with fluted glass, antique mirrors, acrylic – mixing textures and light to give each space its own character.
