Yoga is so much more than poses on a mat. These sessions focus on breathwork and meditation to help you quiet your mind, reduce daily stress, and find a sense of stillness.

My practice is incomplete without reflection, being present with my breath, and bowing down with gratitude. This is the most important and special aspect of yoga for me.

This video demonstrates Intercostal breathing, a technique that emphasizes the expansion of the ribcage to improve lung capacity and provide more oxygen to the body.

Learn the benefits of Anulom Vilom Pranayama (Alternate Nostril Breathing). It helps relieve stress, improves lung capacity, and is a great preparation for meditation.

Dhyana, or meditation, is the seventh limb of Ashtanga yoga. It is the state where individual consciousness unites with universal consciousness, leading to liberation.

When nothing is going your way, just pause. Take a deep inhale and a deep exhale. Making your breath your best friend can create magic in your life.

In my sessions, we never just rush into asanas. I always begin with grounding techniques like intercostal breathing or Anulom Vilom to settle the nervous system and build a foundation of calm. Whether you are joining a corporate wellness workshop or a private class in Mumbai, we dedicate time to these practices so you leave the mat feeling mentally clear and grounded, not just physically stretched.

For me, yoga is a 'work-in'. It is about connecting to your higher consciousness rather than performing perfect postures. This cluster is dedicated to that journey—using Pranayama and meditation to pause, breathe, and reset.

Why Breathwork Matters

Most of us live in a state of constant 'doing'. Breathing techniques like Intercostal breathing aren't just exercises; they are tools to expand your lung capacity and shift your body from a stress response into a state of rest. When you practice Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing) regularly, you are essentially balancing all the systems of your body, creating the internal environment needed for true meditation.
