Yoga Philosophy: Finding Stillness and Strength
For me, yoga is a journey inward. In this space, I share the lessons I've learned on the mat—from the power of patience to the joy of small wins. Let’s explore how Yoga se sab hoga.
My progress in Vrischikasana (Scorpion Pose) from 2019 to 2023. Perfect is an illusion; strive for becoming a better version of yourself, one baby step at a time.
A thought for today: When you get what you want, that's God's direction. When you don't get what you want, that's God's protection. Trust the journey.
My formula for mental health: do something for your mind, body, and soul every day. Get enough sleep, practice gratitude, and be where your feet are.
Let's use our energy to believe, grow, and heal. A close-up shot capturing the intention and focus that yoga brings.
Yoga is not merely a physical exercise but a practice which connects oneself to the Higher Consciousness. It is a journey inward.
Externally, yoga might look like just another movement practice. But internally, it's a purifying journey where you become more nurturing, kind, forgiving, and grateful.
Dear Yoga, thank you for choosing me. A moment of gratitude for this practice that has become my life's path.
Suppressing your emotions will not help you heal. Feeling your emotions and then letting go, will. Natarajasana (Dancer's Pose) is a beautiful expression of this release.
A simple reminder to count your blessings. Gratitude changes everything.
It's amazing how women can be strong yet soft, vulnerable and resilient. To all the women out there, you are magic.
About My Yoga Philosophy
When you practice with me, you’ll notice we don't rush into advanced poses. We spend time on the basics, breathing, and aligning our intent before moving. If you’re stiff or feeling new, that’s exactly where we start—no judgment, just steady, mindful movement.
Yoga isn't just about touching your toes; it's about what you learn on the way down. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that Yoga se sab hoga—with patience, everything is possible.
Embracing the Journey
I teach a mix of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha flows, but I adapt everything to where you are today. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned practitioner, we look at alignment, safe adjustments, and most importantly, why you’re on the mat.
The "Sabr aur Shukr" Approach
In my workshops, I see people constantly chasing the perfect inversion or deepest backbend. My goal is to shift that focus. When we prioritize Sabr aur Shukr (patience and gratitude), the poses follow naturally. Perfect is an illusion; the real magic is in the baby steps you take daily.
Mindful Movement
Beyond the physical, we integrate Pranayama and breathwork. It’s about building a toolkit for your mental health. We pause, breathe, and find clarity, ensuring the practice helps you off the mat just as much as on it.
Getting Started
Whether you join me for a group workshop in Malad West, a private corporate session in Mumbai, or one of my workshops abroad, the core remains the same: show up, breathe, and trust the process.
