My Yoga Journey: Finding Balance and Inner Peace
Yoga is not just about the poses or the flexibility. It is a path to finding gratitude, peace, and real happiness in the small, everyday moments of life.
This unique 3D printed figurine captures a moment of my practice. It's a reminder that yoga is a continuous process of shaping and refining ourselves, both physically and mentally.
Happiness depends on ourselves. A candid moment of reflection and joy during my travels in Kashmir.
A guru is not just a teacher, but a torchbearer. This picture, taken on Guru Purnima, captures the love and respect that defines our yoga family.
A smile is the simplest way to share happiness. I believe in bringing a sense of joy and lightness to our yoga practice and our lives.
Another happy moment from Pahalgam, Kashmir. Being in nature, feeling grateful and content, is the essence of the yoga lifestyle for me.
About About Me: My Yoga Journey
More than the certifications or the poses, my practice is rooted in one simple belief: to be a teacher, you must first be human. In my sessions, we do not just focus on strength or aerial drills. We focus on finding that sukoon (peace) that exists within you. I walk around the studio to help with your alignment and listen to what your body is trying to tell me, ensuring that you feel supported, not just instructed.
Growing up, I learned that yoga is not about perfection. Whether I am teaching a corporate wellness batch in Noida or an aerial class in South Delhi, the goal is always the same: to help you connect with your inner self. I draw inspiration from the ghats of Kashi, where I learned that the bowing of the mind is just as important as the stretching of the limbs.
My students often ask me why we spend so much time on breathing or simple, slow movements. The answer is simple. When your breath is in your control, your life becomes easier to navigate. We use props like chairs, blocks, and straps. These are not a crutch. They are a way to make sure that yoga is accessible to every single person, regardless of their current flexibility or physical history.
In this journey, I have had the honor of receiving a Guinness World Record, but that is not why I teach. I teach because I want to build a yoga family. A space where you do not feel judged for being a beginner, where you do not need to look like an expert to belong. Whether we are practicing on a mat in a studio or connecting through a screen, we are all just seeking the same thing. A little more happiness and a lot less noise in our daily lives.
