I bridge the gap between raw cricket talent and high-level athletic output using biomechanics and data-driven training.

Posing with a youth cricket team after a successful campaign. It's incredibly rewarding to help shape the next generation of athletes and build their foundational skills.

A montage of training drills with young cricketers. We work on everything from on-field agility and coordination to foundational strength exercises like medicine ball throws and assisted push-ups.

Agility and change-of-direction drills are non-negotiable for cricketers. Here, I'm guiding athletes through drills designed to improve their reaction time and ability to move explosively on the field.

On the field, coaching athletes on movement mechanics. Proper running form and body control are fundamental skills that reduce injury risk and improve efficiency.

Even on a rest day, the work continues. This shows the Hubli Tigers team staying sharp with a mix of gym work, on-field drills, and cardio to maintain their fitness during a demanding season.

A moment on the field with my training equipment. My job is to find the balance between pushing athletes to unlock their full potential and managing their fatigue.

About this collection

The cricket field is where you play, but the gym is where you build the engine to sustain it. My programs aren't about generic cardio; they are about specific adaptations like increasing your bowling stride force or optimizing power hitting mechanics through Velocity-Based Training (VBT).

Success in cricket requires more than just hours in the nets. It demands a physiological profile that can handle the specific, high-intensity loads of the sport. Whether it is bowling velocity, fielding agility, or maintaining power throughout a long tournament like the KSCA Maharaja Cup, my approach is built on science, not guesswork.

I utilize VBT to monitor bar speed in real-time, ensuring that every rep you perform in the gym translates to explosive power on the pitch. This is not about lifting the heaviest weight possible; it is about moving with intent and efficiency. We periodize your blocks to align with your playing season, meaning we focus on hypertrophy and strength in the off-season, and shift to maintenance and power when you are playing competitive matches.

My Approach to Cricket Training

  • Biomechanics: We analyze your movement patterns to identify asymmetries or inefficiencies that might be limiting your performance or increasing injury risk.
  • Field-Specific Conditioning: Agility is non-negotiable. I integrate change-of-direction drills that mimic the chaotic nature of fielding and running between the wickets.
  • Evidence-Based: Every drill has a rationale. You will know exactly why we are focusing on a specific hinge or plyometric movement.

Training takes place at my facility in RMV 2nd Stage, or we can structure a remote program if you are traveling for the season. This is about building a durable, explosive athlete.

I don't just write programs; I monitor your bar speed and field mechanics to ensure you’re hitting your targets. Whether you need to recover from an injury or add speed to your bowling, we keep it evidence-based and tailored to your cricket season.
