We do not do demos where you just watch from the sidelines. We calibrate your home OTG, fix the humidity issues in your frosting, and troubleshoot dough hydration together. Whether we are laminating croissants or piping sharp edges on a sponge cake, you hold the tools from the first mix to the final bake.
Baking is not just about following a recipe—it is a mix of chemistry and patience. In our workshops, we focus on the 'why' behind every step because once you understand the science, you can bake anything in your own kitchen.
The Workshop Experience
We believe in learning by doing. Our sessions in Cochin and Bangalore are intimate, designed to give you plenty of hands-on practice.
- Pastry & Yeast: We take on the challenge of manual lamination. You will learn to hand-roll butter into dough for croissants and master yeast proofing for perfect pizza bases and pesto babka.
- Cake Fundamentals: Forget wonky layers. We teach you how to create stable sponges, how to level and fill them evenly, and the secret to achieving those sharp 90-degree edges on your buttercream cakes.
- Brownies & Cookies: We go beyond the basics. We explore how to get that signature crackle top on brownies and how to work with alternative flours like ragi and almond for delicious gluten-free treats.
Troubleshooting Real Issues
We know that baking at home is different from a bakery. That is why we cover topics like OTG calibration and weather-proofing your whipped cream against high humidity. You will walk away with not just a box of treats you made yourself, but the confidence to replicate the results at home without the stress.
