About Youth Programs & Summer Camps

Our Indian Group Voice classes for children aged 6 to 10 meet every Saturday at our South Extension II studio. We focus on rhythm, notes, and melody through fun compositions rather than strict drills, ensuring your child enjoys the music-making process while learning foundational technique.

At Lilanoor, we believe art should be a natural extension of a child's curiosity, not a box they are forced into. Our youth programs, including our popular Indian Group Voice sessions and summer camps, are designed to give young learners a safe, vibrant environment to explore their creative voice.

A French-Indian Creative Approach

We frequently collaborate with institutions like the Alliance Française de Delhi to bring a unique, multicultural flavour to our camps. This isn't just about music lessons; it’s about a holistic artistic experience. Children spend their time engaging with diverse forms including:

  • Vocal Technique: Learning the building blocks of rhythm and melody.
  • Puppetry & Storytelling: Creating fables and characters based on classics.
  • Body Percussion & Theatre: Using movement to express musicality.
  • Songwriting: Crafting original pieces inspired by different cultural stories.

Faculty and Philosophy

Our youth courses are led by artists like Vibhuti Sharma, who brings her academic expertise in theatre and performance studies to our pedagogy. She, like all our teachers, is an active performer. This means the children are learning from practitioners who are still deeply involved in the craft, bringing real-world enthusiasm into the classroom. Whether it’s a group voice class in South Extension or a multi-day summer intensive, the goal is always the same: to foster a genuine love for the arts.

Joining Our Community

Located in Masjid Moth, our center is a purpose-built space designed to feel more like a home than a school. We keep our batches intentionally small to ensure every child gets individual attention. If you are looking for an environment where your child can experiment with sound and movement without the pressure of auditions or rigid competition, our doors are open.

We are a French-Indian artists collective in South Delhi that believes art should be as natural as breathing. We bring this same philosophy to our youth programs, creating spaces where children can experiment with sound, movement, and theatre alongside performing artists who truly love teaching.
