About this collection
Unlike conventional classes, our curriculum culminates in formal stage presentations at the Heritage Auditorium. We believe performance is an essential part of learning, giving children the discipline to share their hard work and the confidence to express themselves before an audience.
At the Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning, we view arts as a gateway to self-inquiry. Our programs, including the Ramana Bala Kendra and Summer Camps, are not designed merely as extracurricular activities but as pathways for children to connect with Indian heritage and develop foundational values.
Our Approach to Learning
Children engage with traditional shlokas, Carnatic music, and Bharatanatyam under the guidance of experienced Gurus. The environment at our Sanjaynagar campus is crafted to be supportive and disciplined, allowing students to explore their creative potential while learning to manage emotions. Whether your child is 4 or 14, our syllabus is tailored to age-appropriate stages of development, balancing fun, storytelling, and rigorous practice.
Practice Meets Performance
We consistently provide opportunities for students to perform during cultural festivals like Navaratri, Sivaratri, and Ramana Jayanthi. This exposure ensures that the music and dance they practice are transformed into a lived experience. Every workshop, whether it is a summer intensive or a weekly class, concludes with a valedictory program that welcomes families to witness the growth and dedication of the participants.
Logistics and Enrollment
We offer flexible formats, including weekly classes at our centre and intensive summer camps held annually. Group sizes are kept manageable to ensure each student receives personal attention. We invite parents to visit our Heritage Campus in Sanjaynagar to observe our environment and understand our philosophy of 'Art as Devotion' firsthand.
Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning
We are a dedicated space where the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi come to life through music, dance, and theatre. We invite families to explore a traditional environment that values character and cultural roots as much as artistic skill.
