About Western Voice & Songwriting
We do not teach from dusty textbooks here. Whether you are aiming to master a jazz standard or produce your own demo on a DAW, you are learning from active, gigging musicians who understand the reality of performing. Our sessions focus on building your personal vocal color and technique, rather than just forcing you into a standard, 'correct' sound.
At Lilanoor, located in South Extension II, we believe Western music theory is a toolkit, not a set of rules. Our Western Voice classes bridge the gap between technical vocal training—breathing, dynamics, and enunciation—and the creative freedom of songwriting. We offer a mix of solo and group sessions designed to fit your learning style, whether you need intense one-on-one feedback or the collaborative energy of a group.
For those interested in production, our Songwriting and Music Production course takes you behind the scenes of music making. You will get hands-on experience with music theory, ear training, and industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). By the end of our sessions, you will have the confidence to move from a blank page to a finished song. Our faculty, including artists like Subhadra and Sherry Mathews, bring years of indie and commercial performance experience to the studio, ensuring you get practical insights that go beyond the theory. We provide a space where your musical voice can develop authentically, surrounded by a community that genuinely loves the craft.
