About Vocal Training Sessions
I keep my vocal batches small—typically 4 to 6 students—so you get real, personalized attention rather than just blending into the crowd. Whether we are working on Indian classical ragas or modern Western pop, the focus stays on practical application, meaning you will be singing actual songs from your first few sessions rather than just drilling endless scales.
My Approach to Vocal Training
At my academy in Sector 56, I believe that music should feel like a conversation. For Indian vocal training, we use a traditional setup with a harmonium and tabla, which helps you understand the nuances of melody and rhythm in a deeply authentic way. If your interest lies in Western music, we cover everything from popular contemporary tracks to classics, focusing on microphone technique and stage presence.
Why Learn in Small Groups?
I purposefully limit batch sizes to ensure no one gets lost. In these small groups, you get the chance to practice with others, which builds the confidence you just cannot get by singing alone at home. We also incorporate group jamming sessions, which are great for developing your listening skills and harmony.
Preparing for the Stage
Learning is one thing, but performing is where the real growth happens. Every year, I host 'Pehal', our annual festival, which gives every student—child or adult—a chance to perform on a professional stage. It is designed to help you overcome stage fright and enjoy the music you have been working on. Beyond the big annual fest, we also hold smaller, informal showcases throughout the year to give you consistent opportunities to share your progress with friends and family.
Whether you are a beginner looking to find your voice or someone returning to music as a hobby, you will find a comfortable, AC-equipped, and welcoming environment here.
A One Music Academy
I believe music is for everyone, regardless of your age or experience level. At my academy, I create a space where you can find your rhythm and voice without the pressure of a traditional classroom, whether you are a complete beginner or a returning hobbyist.
