Dojo training is only the beginning. Step onto the mat, test your techniques under pressure, and prove your fighting spirit in our local and national Kyokushin tournaments.

A moment of perfect execution. A student lands a kick in a youth competition. This is the result of countless hours of practice in the dojo.

The moment before the fight begins. As a referee, I ensure the fight is fair and the rules of Kyokushin are respected. Two competitors ready to test their skills.

A winner is declared. Whether you win or lose, stepping onto the mat is a victory in itself. It shows courage and a willingness to face a challenge.

Close-range engagement during a Kumite match. Students learn to manage distance and fight effectively in all situations, staying calm under pressure.

I am organizing a Lowkick Tournament. This event is for any martial artist who wants to test the power of their kicks. I welcome all styles to participate. Osu.

The All Japan Championship in Tokyo. We are part of a global Kyokushin community. Events like this show the highest level of competition and inspire us to train harder.

We adapt to any situation. This poster is for our first National Online Kata Championship, allowing students to compete from anywhere. The spirit of karate has no boundaries.

The K-1 Phoenix Cup, an All India Full Contact Karate tournament. We support Kyokushin events and encourage our students to participate and represent our dojo.

About Tournaments: Test Your Skills

I organize these tournaments to push you beyond your comfort zone, whether you are competing in full-contact kumite or precision kata forms. You will face qualified referees, ringside medical support, and opponents from different dojos, giving you an honest, real-world assessment of your technical progress and mental strength.

Why We Compete

In our dojo, competition is not about ego. It is a necessary tool to expose the gaps in your training. When you are in the dojo, you are familiar with your training partners. When you step into a tournament ring, you face the unknown. You learn to control your breathing when your heart rate spikes and maintain your technique when you are tired.

Types of Events We Host

  • All Bangalore Open: Our signature local tournament held here in Koramangala. It is an opportunity for students of all ranks to gain experience and represent our Kyokushin family.
  • Lowkick Tournaments: Specifically designed for those who want to test the power and placement of their kicks in a controlled environment.
  • Online Kata Championships: The spirit of karate has no boundaries. These competitions allow you to demonstrate your form, balance, and focus even if you cannot be present in the dojo.

Your Safety and Preparation

I ensure every tournament follows strict Kyokushin rules. We provide professional officiating, ringside medical support, and matted rings to keep the environment safe.

Before you register, understand that these events are demanding. We expect discipline. You must be prepared to demonstrate strength and spirit. If you are ready to stop training in theory and start testing your skills in reality, contact me to discuss the upcoming schedule and your eligibility for the next bracket.

I am Sensei Carvalho. In my dojo, competition isn't about being better than others; it’s about being better than who you were yesterday. I run these tournaments to help you find your courage and face your fears.
