Outdoor Kyokushin Karate Training Camps
We take Kyokushin training out of the dojo and into the wild. By training on natural terrain like riverbeds and forests, we test your spirit, endurance, and technique in ways a gym cannot.
The first day of our camp in the Jayanti forest. We start with fundamentals, drilling techniques together as a single unit. The fresh air and open space demand more from you than any indoor hall.
Training by the riverbed. The uneven ground challenges your stance and balance. Nature is a tough but fair teacher, forcing you to adapt and become stronger.
A look at our summer camp in the forest. Students of all ages and belt levels train side by side, learning from each other. This is how our Kyokushin family grows stronger.
As a Sensei, I train with my students. Here, I demonstrate a practical application during a camp. Leadership is about showing the way, not just telling it.
This is the announcement for our National Summer Camp. We invite students to join us for an intense training experience in the Alipurduar forest, a true test of endurance and spirit.

About Outdoor Training Camps: Train in Nature
The forest and riverbed environments are not just backdrops. They force you to adapt your footing and balance, exposing gaps in your stability that a flat studio floor masks. You will train hard, you will sweat, and you will learn that discipline must be maintained even when the air is thin and the ground is uneven.
I believe the dojo is only the beginning. True growth happens when you are removed from your comfort zone. These residential nature camps are designed for one purpose: to strip away the distractions of city life and focus entirely on Kyokushin principles. We spend three days in locations like the Jayanti Forest or by river trails, covering over 18 hours of specialized training.
The Curriculum
We drill Kihon (basics), Kata (forms), and Kumite (sparring) three times a day. We start before the sun is high and end when the body has reached its limit. This is not a holiday. The accommodations are basic, such as dormitory-style or forest lodges, because you are here to build mental toughness, not for luxury.
Why Nature?
Nature is a teacher that does not care for your excuses. The uneven ground challenges your stance, and the natural elements demand higher focus. You will be training alongside students of all ranks. Whether you are a white belt or a black belt, the forest treats everyone equally. We follow the Kyokushin spirit: Atama wa hikuku, me wa takaku, kuchi tsutsushinde kokoro hiroku. Keep your head low and your eyes high.
Practical Details
These camps are open to all, including beginners wanting a challenge. We provide basic, nutritious meals suitable for athletes, but you must bring your own gear and mental resolve. Travel to the assembly point is your responsibility. Pack light, train hard. Osu.
Ravi Carvalho
I am Sensei Carvalho. I believe real growth happens outside the comfort of the dojo. When we train in the Jayanti forest, it is not about the surroundings; it is about finding the strength inside you. You will sweat, you will struggle, and you will learn.
