We transform curiosity into understanding. At Kriya, science and culture aren't just subjects on a timetable—they are hands-on experiences that allow children to explore the world around them, from the biology of a plant to the physics of water.

From seed to harvest. This video shows the entire process of our children planting seeds, caring for them, and eventually harvesting their own vegetables. This is a powerful, hands-on lesson in botany and patience.

Our little scientists explore the properties of slime. This hands-on activity lets them discover the unique texture of a non-Newtonian fluid, enhancing their sense of touch and fine motor skills.

Can you poke a pencil through a bag of water without it leaking? Our children discovered the magic of polymer chains in this amazing science experiment, watching with wonder as the bag sealed itself around the pencils.

A throwback to our group lessons on germination. Working together, children planted their own seeds, labeled them, and learned about the conditions needed for a plant to grow.

An infographic explaining the Culture curriculum area, which includes botany, zoology, geography, history, music, and art to provide real-life experiences.

This graphic explains how making and flying ribbon kites helps children learn about the concept of wind, using their senses to observe its presence and effects.

Our word of the month is "Wonder." This concept is the spark that drives our young minds to explore, question, and discover everything about the world around them.

About Sparking Curiosity: Science & Culture

When you walk into our science corner, you will not find textbooks or flashcards. Instead, you will see real soil, magnifying glasses, and children carefully tending to the saplings they planted themselves. We prioritize this tactile approach because we have seen that when a child understands the life cycle of a plant through their own labor, the lesson stays with them longer than any classroom lecture could.
