About Taekwondo Training
What Taekwondo Means Here
I’m Kiran Gawande, and for me, Taekwondo isn’t just about kicks and medals. At Kiran Taekwondo Art, it’s how I help people become stronger, more confident, and disciplined. Winning fights is cool, but honestly, watching students grow as humans is the real win.
Where Champions Are Made
My biggest pride? Seeing students, from tiny kids to adults, walk in nervous and walk out with medals from State and National competitions. Every time someone gets a new belt or wins a match, I say, “Shabaash beta!” (Well done kid!) That celebration is for everyone, not just the gold medalists.
How We Train
- We start with fitness basics: speed, strength, flexibility drills, agility ladder, cones, stretching. It’s tough but also fun.
- You’ll learn Poomsae forms, Taekwondo sparring drills, and yes, breaking boards. Full gear, safe environment.
- Self defense for beginners is part of every class. We want you to feel ready if life throws something at you.
For All Ages
Kids from 3 years old, adults in their 40s, everyone’s welcome. Classes are split by age and level, so you’ll find your pace whether you’re new or chasing a black belt.
Your Journey
We follow a proper Taekwondo belt promotion system. Tests are regular, you show what you’ve learned, and move up. The path isn’t easy, but I’m with you from first step to black belt training program.

My Story
Guru shivay dnyan nahi... No teacher, no knowledge, simple. I’m Kiran Gawande, 4th Dan Black Belt, Taekwondo Class 3 Master. Kiran Taekwondo Art is more than just an academy - it’s home. Been at this for 10 years, and honestly, nothing beats watching my students - chote bachche (little kids) - go from first kick to winning gold medals. Their achievements? That’s my real medal. We’re not just teaching Taekwondo, we’re building respect, discipline, and confidence across Mumbai and Thane.
