About Gurbani Sangeet: A Sacred Tradition
When learning Gurbani Sangeet with us, we do not simply teach notes. We focus on the exact raag—such as Bilawal, Tukhari, or Bhupali—and the specific taal required for each shabad. You will learn the traditional 'baithak' (floor seating) posture and the correct hand-weight distribution needed for your harmonium or string instrument to produce the resonant sound necessary for sacred kirtan.

- Practical Application: We hold regular 'baithaks'—traditional group practice sessions—where students perform together. This environment helps you develop the listening skills and rhythmic precision needed to play in an ensemble.
