Realistic Women's Safety & Self-Defense Training
Street-smart self-defense for women. We move beyond mats and uniforms to train you for real-world threats, using the clothes you wear and the spaces you occupy every day.
Divya Panwar, one of my lead instructors, shares her personal journey and why self-defense is a crucial life skill for every woman. Her story is a powerful example of turning personal challenges into a mission to empower others.
Addressing a large assembly of students at Gargi Girls School. My goal is to plant the seed of 'soch' (mindset) that they are not weak, that they have the power to protect themselves.
"Main Aaj Ki Nari Hoon." One of my certified instructors, Taniya, recites a powerful poem about the strength and resilience of the modern Indian woman. This is the spirit we cultivate at Kavach.
A demonstration of a defense against a kidnapping attempt from behind. This is a high-stress scenario, and we provide a simple, effective solution that can be recalled under pressure.
This video shows how to defend against a hair-pull attack, a common and disorienting form of assault. The technique is designed to neutralize the threat and create an opportunity to escape.
A testimonial from a participant in our corporate women's safety workshop. Hearing how our training builds confidence and provides peace of mind is the greatest reward.
Leading a workshop for underprivileged girls through an NGO. I believe empowerment should be accessible to everyone. The strong are already strong; my focus is on giving strength to those who need it most.
About this collection
At Kavach, we don't teach you how to win a medal; we teach you how to survive a threat. Whether it is a parking lot grab or a workspace confrontation, our drills use everyday items like pens or ID cards and leverage your existing body mechanics—no matter your size or strength. We train you in the clothes you wear to work, because that is where you will need to defend yourself.
A Mindset, Not Just Moves
Self-defense is not about fancy kicks that only work on a mat; it is a 'soch'—a mindset. Through Project Shakti, I focus on dismantling the idea that women are vulnerable. My sessions are designed to strip away the fear that freezes you in a moment of danger and replace it with a cold, calculated response.
What We Cover
- Street Survival: Practical responses to common threats like hair pulls, wrist grabs, and kidnapping attempts from behind. These are not movie stunts; they are simple, high-pressure escape techniques.
- The 'Everyday' Advantage: We do not believe in uniforms. We train in sarees, suits, and office attire because that is your reality. You learn how to use your environment—chairs, pens, or even your bag—as tools for safety.
- Situational Awareness: We teach you how to identify danger before it escalates, focusing on parking lots, elevators, and late-night commutes.
Who This Is For
I work with organizations, schools, and NGOs across India to make safety accessible to everyone. My team and I have delivered workshops for everyone from school girls at institutions like Gargi Girls School to corporate professionals through organizations like ASIS International.
Whether you represent a school wanting to empower your students, a corporate HR team looking for high-impact CSR initiatives, or a group of women who want to be their own shield, my methodology remains the same: practical, proven, and designed for survival.
Kavach Self Defense System
I am Varun Rawat, and I started Kavach because safety is not a sport—it is a survival necessity. My team and I focus on building a warrior mindset in women, replacing fear with cold, hard logic and practical techniques that actually work when it matters.
