Kavach is not a sport. It is a survival-based mindset built for the reality of the streets, not the safety of a gym mat. Learn how to defend yourself in everyday clothes, against real-world threats.

In this podcast clip, I explain the critical difference between training for a one-on-one medal match and training for real-life survival against multiple attackers, like in the Nirbhaya case. My focus is on survival.

I discuss the importance of training in a realistic environment. Soft mats protect you, but life happens on hard surfaces. To survive a real fall, you must train for it. Scratches in training prevent wounds on the street.

A snapshot of my live podcast with ABP News, where I discussed how to defend yourself in everyday attire like a saree or jeans. This is a core part of my realistic training philosophy.

This is the first of a 7-part series on building a warrior's mindset for life. It all starts with how you see yourself.

Tip 1: Visualize yourself as a warrior. See yourself as strong, capable, and courageous. Your mind is your primary weapon.

Tip 2: Embrace fear and uncertainty. A warrior knows challenges are part of the journey and does not let fear stop them from taking action.

Tip 3: Be prepared for anything and everything. A warrior is always ready for battle, knowing that anything can happen at any time.

Tip 4: Stay calm under pressure. A warrior remains level-headed and focused, not letting emotions get the best of them in a stressful situation.

Tip 5: Don't let your emotions control you. To develop a warrior mindset, you must push through tough emotions and stay focused on your goals.

"Victory is reserved for those warriors who are willing to pay its price." This is the commitment required for true strength.

About The Kavach Philosophy: A Warrior's Mindset

We do not use mats. Real-life confrontations happen on concrete, in parking lots, and in elevators. When you train with Kavach, you are training in your daily attire—jeans, office wear, or a saree. We simulate high-pressure scenarios where the goal is not to score a point for a medal, but to recognize a threat and neutralize it immediately. You don't need years of practice; you need a change in how you think.
