My Journey and Philosophy of Martial Arts
I believe that if your body and mind are strong, you can face anything. Here is what drives me to train every day.
It was an honor to be recognized by MRG School for my work in teaching self-defense. Spreading awareness and empowering the next generation is a responsibility I take very seriously.
With my team at India Gate. We are not just training partners, we are a family united by our love for the country and our dedication to martial arts.
"Mehnat kar." This is my simple mantra. Running with my team at India Gate, pushing ourselves every day to be better than we were yesterday.
"Ek din mein yahan koi kuch nahi banta." You have to show up every day, whether you feel like it or not. That is the only way to achieve anything worthwhile.
A moment of rest in the dojo, my second home. A smile and a positive attitude are just as important as a strong punch. Hasde hi rahni aa.
This is the true spirit of karate. My goal is to empower you with the skills to protect yourself and your loved ones, not to seek conflict. It is a tool for peace.
From the fields of my village to the training mat, the journey continues. It is about staying connected to your roots while always pushing forward. An injury is just a pause, not a full stop.
Karate is the way of life. It is about pushing your body's limits and finding strength you never knew you had. This is the result of years of dedication and practice.
Connecting with nature is important for the mind and body. A moment of peace and readiness in the field, staying grounded and centered.
About My Journey & Philosophy
I do not just teach moves, I teach survival. When we train, we focus on real scenarios like parking lots or street harassment, not just choreography. Whether it is an escape from a chokehold or how to use an attacker's force against them, everything we do in the dojo is tested to keep you safe in the real world.
For me, the maidan is a temple. My path started as a Commonwealth player, but the real growth happened when I stepped into the role of a coach. People often ask why I teach self-defense the way I do, with such intensity. It is simple. I have trained law enforcement and seen what works when things go wrong. You will not find shortcuts here.
My philosophy is grounded in discipline. Whether you are a student, a professional, or someone looking to gain confidence, the training remains the same. We focus on:
- Real-world application: Escaping wrist grabs, neck holds, and managing the freeze response.
- Mental Toughness: Preparing the mind to stay calm under pressure.
- Conditioning: Because a weak body cannot execute a strong technique.
We train on the mats, but we also talk about life. It is not about violence. It is about creating a sense of security so you can walk anywhere without fear. We work on techniques that do not rely on brute strength, which is why this training is effective for women and kids against larger opponents. If you are ready to put in the work and sweat, I am here to guide you.
