My Martial Arts Journey and Training Philosophy
Beyond the ring and the mat, this is how I stay disciplined and keep the grind going.
We get creative with our training equipment. Here's a new punching target I set up using old tires. It's tough and great for conditioning your hands.
A fun Ghibli-style anime version of me in my training gear. Even fighters have a creative side.
Taking a moment to rest after some good striking rounds. The grind is constant, but it's important to recover.

About Additional Work
People often ask where I get my training gear. The truth is, I build a lot of it myself, like the punching tyre setup you see here. Real training is not about fancy machines with air conditioning. It is about finding ways to challenge your body with what you have. Whether I am prepping for a BJJ tournament or running a weekend kickboxing class, the focus remains on functional strength and movement.
When you step into my academy, do not expect a polished, commercial gym environment. You will find mats, heavy bags, and a community of people who are here to work. My approach to martial arts is built on years of competing, from the Karnataka Open to the India Open International, and I bring that exact intensity to every session.
Classes are held at HSR Layout and Hosaroad. If you join, expect to focus on the basics of striking and grappling. We cover Muay Thai, Dutch kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I do not run classes for people who want to look like fighters without putting in the time. We drill, we spar, and we fix the technique until it is second nature. If you are serious about building a strong mind and body, come join us. We keep the equipment simple and the effort high because that is how you actually progress. Avvalothan.
