I conduct regular in-person workshops and online modules to help you dive deeper into alignment, prop usage, and the philosophy behind the practice. Whether you are working with an injury or looking to refine your technique, these sessions offer a space for focused, intelligent study.

This video shows a shoulder strengthening exercise using wall ropes combined with a back-arch. Any movement that challenges the spine is exponentially more potent, as it directly engages our central nervous system. This is a preview of my rope work workshops.

For strength and conditioning enthusiasts, this back-arch using the wall ropes is a powerful way to build upper body and core strength. It demonstrates how yoga props can be used for dynamic, challenging work.

This clip announces an in-person workshop on the use of wall ropes in asana practice. It shows a preparatory pose that builds shoulder and back strength, giving a taste of what participants will learn.

Eka Pada (one-legged) work in a supported Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose). This advanced variation, using a resistance band, challenges stability and strength in the hips and core. It is an example of the creative sequencing in my workshops.

A summer practice idea. This supported backbend on a trestle is an exquisite way to stay active during hot weather without getting overheated. It is both energizing and restorative, a theme I explore in my seasonal workshops.

A simple summer practice idea that everyone can do: a long Savasana (Corpse Pose) with a support under the back. This simple setup, devised by B.K.S. Iyengar, enables deep rest without dullness and is a staple in my classes.

A free giveaway from my digital library. This video offers free access to one of the sessions from my "Shoulder Medley" series, a set of six classes designed to maintain the complete health of the shoulders and shoulder blades.

Prostrations in memory of my guru, B.K.S. Iyengar. This is a personal practice of gratitude and reverence, showing a soft, yielding forward bend sequence over bolsters that quiets the mind and honors the lineage of this practice.

Summers are for long, supported holds. Here, I am using a trestle and block for a supported Parsvakonasana (Side Angle Pose). This allows for a deep, passive opening of the side body and hips, which is incredibly restorative.

Another summer practice pose: a supported Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose) using the trestle. This removes the element of balance, allowing for a longer hold to focus on opening the hips and lengthening the spine.

About Workshops & Events

My workshops are not about rushing through sequences to burn calories. We focus on the anatomy of the pose, using wall ropes, trestles, and blocks to map your unique structural needs. In these sessions, we deconstruct complex movements into manageable actions so you can build strength safely and understand exactly what is happening in your body.
