At I Think CrossFit, we don't just workout; we build capability. Whether you are chasing your first pull-up or refining your Olympic lifts, our coaches break down the mechanics to keep you safe and moving better.

Building the foundation for walking on our hands, one drill at a time. Our Saturday skills classes are all about breaking down complex movements into manageable progressions.

Learning the rope climb is an incredible skill. A big part of it is creating an efficient foot hook, which allows you to take fewer "bites" out of the rope and conserve energy.

Pushing each other to get better every day. A little friendly handstand practice against the wall helps build strength, balance, and confidence for more advanced gymnastics movements.

Weightlifting is all about positions. In our Saturday skills class, we're practicing positions for the snatch, including hang snatches and overhead squats, to get 1% better every day.

Drills build skills. Practicing foundational movements like L-sits on the floor directly translates to improved strength and control for more complex skills like toes-to-bar.

We're never too experienced to go back to the basics. Working on strict pull-up strength, including weighted variations, is crucial for improving overall gymnastics ability.

Wall walks are always better with friends. This workout combined gymnastics strength with cardio, as members practiced their wall walks and shuttle runs.

Show up, listen to your coach, and trust the process. Here, a member celebrates his first 15ft rope climb after practicing the progressions in our skills class.

Another skill-building session in the books. Our members are always thrilled to be at the right place to learn and grow, working on gymnastics skills like handstands and muscle-ups.

Our skills and drills classes are an essential part of our schedule. Today we worked on progressions for strict handstand push-ups and rope climbs, with coaches providing constant feedback.

About Master the Movements: Skill & Technique

The biggest mistake we see? Adding weight before nailing the pattern. In our skill sessions, we prioritize mechanics over intensity. You will spend time breaking down movements like rope climbs or snatches into manageable, repeatable drills. It is the difference between guessing your way through a workout and moving with purpose and precision.
