Medals and state caps are not just given. They are earned through the early morning slog, heavy lifts, and relentless consistency. These athletes turned our off-season grind into their game-day advantage.

We are proud to see our athlete Divya Gnanananda, a talented batting all-rounder, take the next step in her career to represent Pondicherry. Her consistent performance for Karnataka is a result of her dedication and hard work at our academy.

Congratulations to Divya for her selection to the South Zone team for the Senior Women's Inter Zonal T20 Trophy. Her consistent run-scoring in the BCCI tournaments is a direct result of her focused training.

A moment of triumph at the historic Wankhede Stadium. Divya Gnanananda celebrates her unbeaten century against Tamil Nadu, a testament to her hard work and mental fortitude, honed right here at our academy.

Watch Divya in action during the Senior Women's One Day Trophy final. Her composure and skill at the crease, scoring a crucial 69 runs, demonstrate the resilience we build in our athletes.

Here is our wicket-keeper Sanjana Batni during the final of the Senior Women's One Day Trophy. Her agility and focus behind the stumps are sharpened through countless hours of specialized drills at our academy.

In an interview with CricTracker, our athlete Divya explains our training philosophy. She details the difference between the hard slog of off-season training and the lighter, power-focused work during the on-season.

About this collection

You see the boundaries and match-winning performances in these photos, but the real story is in the off-season. Athletes like Divya do not just train for the sake of it, they follow a specific periodized cycle where we move from heavy 140kg deadlifts to explosive on-field agility. It is the contrast between the gym’s heavy iron and the stadium’s grit that builds the engine needed to survive long match days and high-pressure tournament situations.

The Reality of Performance

We do not believe in shortcuts. At the Indian Athletic Academy, performance is built in the off-season. When you are not playing, you are in the gym or the stadium, building the physical foundation required to compete at the state and national levels. Our training philosophy is simple: heavy compounds for raw strength, followed by on-field agility drills to ensure that strength translates to speed, power, and sharp fielding reflexes.

Building Champions, Not Just Athletes

Take Divya Gnanananda, for example. Her transition from local cricket to the India A team and consistent performances in the Senior Women's One Day Trophy did not happen by accident. It happened because she mastered the 'slog'. Whether it is rowing machine intervals for stamina or hex bar deadlifts for lower-body power, our cricketers undergo the same rigorous protocols as our para-athletes and track sprinters.

Why Our Training Works

  • Periodized Cycles: We structure your year into phases of hypertrophy, maximum strength, and power conversion.
  • Cricket-Specific Agility: We use ladder drills and sand-pit resistance work to prepare you for the sudden changes in direction required behind the stumps or on the field.
  • Community Support: You are training alongside state-level peers, which creates a competitive environment that pushes you to work harder than you would alone.

We provide the facility, the equipment, and the mentorship. You provide the fire. If you are ready to stop making excuses and start training for results, you belong here with us.
