Inclusive Sports Training and Mentorship in Bengaluru
We are more than just a training ground. From para-athletes to aspiring pros, our academy is a community where talent meets hard work, and everyone has a mentor to guide them.
Listen to our inspirational athlete Ganga, an international blind cricket player, speak about her journey and her role as a mentor. She talks about how our training has helped her and how there is no difference between men and women in our academy, everyone is equal.
Wishing a happy birthday to the inspirational Gangavva Neelappa Harijan, vice-captain of the Indian Women's Blind Cricket Team. Her dedication and achievements inspire our entire community.
Our athletes give back. Here, Divya is interviewed about her role as a mentor for the Queens Premier League, sharing the knowledge she has gained through her journey. We encourage our senior athletes to guide the next generation.
Divya sharing her expertise with a group of aspiring female cricketers. This is a core part of our ethos, where experienced players mentor newcomers, creating a cycle of growth and support within the community.
About this collection
We don't just train athletes; we build a culture where those who have made it pull up the ones coming next. When you join, you are assigned a mentor—like Divya, who plays for India A, or Ganga, our international blind cricket star—who actively guides your technique and mental approach, ensuring you never feel lost, regardless of your skill level.
At Indian Athletic Academy, our philosophy is simple: 'Kannu kaanade idru saadhanege kammi illa' (Even without sight, there is no lack of achievement). We have removed the barriers found in traditional sports training centers.
Why Our Tribe is Different
- Peer-to-Peer Mentorship: Our senior athletes don't just train alongside you; they teach. Seeing an India A player share fielding tips with a junior athlete is a standard Tuesday here.
- Inclusive Coaching: We treat every athlete the same, whether you are a para-athlete preparing for international games or a junior starting your first season. There is no bhedbhav (discrimination) on our track.
- Support for Women Athletes: We have built a dedicated environment where female cricketers and athletes gain the confidence to compete at state and national levels, supported by mentors who have been in their shoes.
What You Can Expect
When you step into our Kumaraswamy Layout gym or the Jayanagar stadium track, you are entering a space focused on results. We push you to 'fail better' because that is the only way to actually win. Our coaches are here to spot your weaknesses, fix your technique, and build your confidence through relentless practice. If you are ready to put in the work and join a team that actually cares about your growth, you belong here.
Indian Athletic Academy
Roshan Agnisreedhar here. At Indian Athletic Academy, we stripped away the corporate polish to build a space where skill, not status, matters. Whether you are a junior just starting or a para-athlete aiming for the podium, you will find a team here that pushes you to fail better until you finally win.
