About Athletics & Para-Athletics Coaching
What We’re About
This isn’t just a coaching center, it’s our tribe. The early alarms, tough days, sweaty T-shirts, and sometimes the urge to quit - I know that story well. Our only rule: keep showing up, keep failing better. We chase big sapne (dreams), together. Some are here for medals, some for fitness, everyone belongs.
Who Trains With Us
- Kids as young as 10, starting their first race
- Teens pushing for state and national spots
- Senior champs aiming for international glory
- Para-athletes, including those with visual or coordination challenges, getting the same respect and attention as anyone else
- Folks who just want to get fitter, not necessarily compete
A Special Place for Para-Athletes
Our para-athlete training programs are something I’m really proud of. Kannu kaanade idru saadhanege kammi illa (Even without sight, achievement doesn’t fall short). Coaches like Vikram sir help with guide running for visually impaired athletes. We give real support - coaching, even housing at times - and our para champs have gone all the way to nationals and beyond.
Events & Facilities
Track events: sprints, middle/long distance, hurdles, relays. Field events: long jump, shot put, javelin. Two training spots in Bengaluru: one stadium with a synthetic track, and our own gym with an indoor sand pit.
Why It Matters
We win medals, sure, but the big joy is in the daily grind and the masti (fun) when someone smashes a goal. That’s what keeps us coming back.

My Story
Roshan here, but honestly, Indian Athletic Academy is bigger than just me. It’s Vikram pushing para-athletes, Kishon and Dom making everyone sweat, and our whole crew. We’ve seen Divya go from street cricket to the Indian team, Ganga win medals though she’s blind. She said, ‘naavu blind aadru kooda... namge protsaaha needidralla’ (Even though we are blind, they encouraged us). That’s why we do what we do. Limits? Just in your head. If you’ve got the fire, we’ll help you fail, fail better, and finally win.
My Work
What we train - Personal and group coaching in Athletics, Para-Athletics, Cricket, Gym & Fitness, Flag Football, Kabaddi. All ages, all levels.
Training style - Hardcore off-season athletic training - run long, lift heavy. On-season is lighter, focused on power and agility.
Para-athlete coaching - Dedicated support for athletes with disabilities. We help para-athletes compete and win, no bhedbhav (no difference).
Inclusive sports academy - From kids to pros, everyone’s welcome. We’re not just trainers, we’re your team.
