This terracotta fish wall art is a project from one of my workshops. Here you can see the finished, painted pieces installed to create a lively wall display.
Watch the sgraffito process on this planter, where I carve through a layer of black underglaze to reveal a celestial mushroom design.
Another example of sgraffito, this time creating a beautiful rose pattern on a pink planter. The carving technique adds wonderful depth and detail.
Using resist tape is a great way to create clean, geometric patterns. Here, I'm painting a vase with blue underglaze over a taped design.

A large, hand-built vase with multiple handles, inspired by ancient pottery. The textured, rustic glaze gives it a timeless quality.
This unique, modern vase is a beautiful example of sculptural, functional art. It's designed to hold a single stem, making a minimalist statement.
Watch as I hand-build and carve a large vase with a repeating geometric pattern. This technique, called piercing, creates a beautiful play of light and shadow.
About Art for Your Living Space
Every decorative piece I make starts as a simple lump of clay, which I then carve, pierce, or coil by hand. Because I do not use moulds, each vase, lamp, or wall hanging has intentional, subtle variations in texture, meaning the piece you choose for your living space is truly one of a kind.
When you choose a handmade ceramic piece, you are bringing the slow, mindful process of the studio into your home. In my Uttarahalli studio, I explore different surface techniques to give every object its own story.
I often use the sgraffito technique, where I coat the clay in a layer of coloured underglaze and then carve back through it to reveal detailed, intricate patterns like roses or celestial mushrooms. For my lamps and lanterns, I use a piercing technique, carving out geometric shapes that cast beautiful, dancing shadows when the light is on inside.
I also love experimenting with how clay feels and looks—some of my pieces are slab-built with textured, rustic glazes that echo the earth, while others are coiled by hand to create organic, flowing forms. Whether it is a decorative wall-mounted fish installation, a donut vase for your coffee table, or a custom lamp, these pieces are made to be touched, held, and lived with. Since everything is created in small batches, the textures and colours reflect the inspiration I draw from the birds and plants right outside my studio window.
