About Create Together: Group & Private Events
Planning a group session at my studio in Uttarahalli is simple, but keep in mind that I keep my batches small, usually 4 to 6 people, to ensure everyone gets personal attention. Whether you are coming with friends for a chill Sunday or organizing a team get-together, please wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on, because we really do get stuck in. It is all about slowing down, and I make sure everyone, regardless of their art background, walks away with something they made themselves.
Why Host a Private Pottery Session?
Pottery is a great leveler. It does not matter if you have never touched clay before; the process is tactile, forgiving, and incredibly grounding. When I host groups for birthdays, family hangouts, or corporate team-building events, the energy in the studio changes. It moves from quiet, individual focus to shared laughter and conversation as we learn techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab-building together.
What to Expect
- Small, Intimate Groups: To keep the vibe chill and my guidance focused, I limit private sessions to 4-6 participants. This ensures you aren't just sitting in a crowded room but actually learning the craft.
- Hand-building focus: Most group sessions are perfect for hand-building techniques. We will work with premium stoneware or terracotta clay to create functional pieces like bowls, planters, or mugs.
- The Process: We spend about 2.5 to 3 hours in the studio. You shape the clay, carve your designs, and doodle on your pieces.
- The Wait: Because I personally glaze and fire every piece in my kiln to ensure it is durable and food-safe, your finished creations will be ready for pickup in 3 to 4 weeks. It is a slow process, but that is part of the magic of ceramics.
Where We Meet
The sessions happen right here at my studio in Uttarahalli. It is an open, airy terrace space surrounded by plants. Sometimes there is a koel singing outside or the sun streaming in, making it a wonderful setting to disconnect from the city rush and reconnect with your creativity.
