About Yoga Therapy for Healing
When you start 1-on-1 therapy with me, we don't just jump into random asanas. I begin by reviewing your medical history, including any X-rays or reports, to build a customized protocol based on S-VYASA standards. We move with intention, using props like blocks, chairs, and belts to safely support your body as we target the root of your discomfort.
The Integrated Approach to Yoga Therapy (IAYT) treats the whole person, not just the isolated symptom. Whether you are recovering from spinal surgery, managing sciatica, or dealing with hypertension, the goal remains the same: to reduce symptoms and build physical and mental resilience.
My sessions are built entirely for your individual recovery. If we are working online, I provide real-time video corrections to ensure your alignment is safe and effective, making distance a non-factor in your healing. If you join me in-studio at Basaveshwar Nagar, I use a wide range of props—including bolsters and therapeutic chairs—to create a restorative environment that allows your muscles to release tension without unnecessary strain.
I have helped students across the globe navigate long-term recovery after accidents or surgeries. You will also receive a personalized home practice plan because, in my experience, true healing happens in the practice you do on your own, not just the 60 minutes we spend together.
