Your living and dining areas are the social heart of your home. We design these spaces to flow naturally, using open layouts, layered lighting, and tactile materials to build a backdrop for your family's daily life and gatherings.

This double-height dining area is defined by a dramatic, contemporary chandelier and warm wood paneling. The space opens up to a mezzanine level, creating visual connection across different floors of the home.

A sunken seating lounge with low, concrete-base furniture and bright yellow cushions creates an informal and cozy gathering spot. The design uses varying floor levels to define zones without walls, maintaining an open and airy feel.

In this living room, a large window with a built-in bay seat is framed by lush greenery instead of traditional curtains. The vibrant orange sectional sofa adds a bold splash of color against the neutral palette of white walls and a concrete ceiling.

This living room showcases a harmonious blend of textures, from the fluted wood wall panels to the soft, earthy tones of the furnishings. Pendant lights made from banana fiber cast a warm, inviting glow over the space.

The dining area is subtly demarcated by a screen of slender vertical metal rods, which provides a sense of separation without obstructing light or views. A marble-topped dining table adds a touch of elegance against the engineered wood flooring.

A bird's-eye view of a double-height living room reveals a carefully composed layout with an L-shaped sofa and a prominent stone feature wall. This perspective highlights the spatial planning and the flow between the ground floor and the staircase.

An open-plan apartment living and dining area designed with a clean, white palette. Pops of color are introduced through vibrant artwork and multi-hued cushions, creating a lively and modern atmosphere.

Another perspective of the living room, showing the comfortable arrangement of sofas and armchairs that encourage conversation. The space is unified by a soft rug and layered lighting from both overhead fixtures and ambient lamps.

About Living & Dining Spaces

In our view, a truly open plan does not just mean removing walls; it is about defining zones through subtle transitions. We often use shifts in floor levels, a change in lighting, or a strategic screen of vertical metal rods to separate the dining area from the living lounge. This allows the space to feel expansive while maintaining distinct functions for cooking, eating, and relaxing.
