- Spatial Planning: Custom floor plans featuring signature elements like split-levels, double-height volumes, and internal courtyards.
- 3D Visualization: Exterior views to visualize the facade, material palette (concrete/brick/wood), and massing.
Technical Documentation (GFC)
- Structural Coordination: Collaboration with engineers to design complex features like cantilevered balconies or vaulted roofs.
- Civil Working Drawings: Comprehensive dimensioned plans for excavation, footing, column placement, and masonry walls.
- MEP Layouts: Integrated electrical (switch points, lighting loops) and plumbing (drainage, water supply) drawings.
- Facade Detailing: Specific fabrication details for exterior elements like wooden louvers, metal screens, or exposed concrete paneling.
- Sanction Drawings: Preparation of drawings compliant with local building bye-laws for municipal approval.
Project Management
- Site Visits: Periodic milestone visits (approx 12-15) to inspect foundation casting, roof slab casting, and masonry marking.
- Material Selection: Guidance on selecting core building materials like bricks, stones, and concrete grades.
Integrated Design - Architecture & Fixed Interiors
Core Architecture
- All Shell & Core Inclusions: Full conceptual, structural, and civil design services for the building envelope.

About Architectural Design
Our work at Greyscale Design Studio is all about creating spaces that actually feel good to live or work in. We don't just chase pretty buildings - we want every place to make sense for the people using it, with comfort and practicality right at the core.
How We Design
We call our style 'Glocal'. Basically, we mix global contemporary vibes with local building traditions. If you've seen our Belagavi home, you'll know what I mean - it’s modern but still feels right for the place, with bits of local architecture woven in. It’s not just about looks; it’s about spaces that adapt as families grow, holding memories while staying future-ready.
What You'll Notice in Our Projects
- Obsession with natural light and fresh air. Split-levels, big windows, courtyards - these are our go-tos for an open feel.
- Courtyards aren’t just pretty - they pull the outdoors in and tie the whole space together.
- We love using raw, earthy stuff. Grey is our classic, but you’ll see plenty of concrete, wood, coloured oxides, and local stone like Basalt for that rugged touch.
- We try to blur the line between inside and outside, so you get a real indoor-outdoor spatial flow.
What We Build
Homes that grow with your family, with exposed brick, concrete, and open-plan residential design. Offices built to inspire, not just sit and work in. Hospitality spots where people gather, borrowing ideas from temple courtyards and village squares - grand, but still chill.
We don’t promise perfection, but every project gets our honest effort to balance tradition, modern needs, and sustainable building materials.

My Story
We’re Greyscale Design Studio, based outta Bangalore. For us, architecture is more than just walls and roofs, it’s about shaping how folks live and connect. Our city’s changing, families too, and that pushes us to design spaces that feel both fresh and rooted. We love mixing tradition with today, like in our ‘Heirlooms in Concrete’ project, or that ‘Be’lagavi’ home where we went all glocal. It’s all about making homes that grow with you, hold memories, and invite community.
My Work
Architecture, Interiors & Planning - We design homes, commercial spots, and hospitality spaces, keeping it real and practical.
Central Courtyard Design - Most of our homes have a courtyard at the heart - brings in light, air, connects everyone.
Earthy Home Interiors - We use wood, concrete, Basalt stone, colored oxides for that raw, natural vibe.
Community Social Hub - We love creating spaces where people gather, celebrate, and just be together, like old village squares.
