We transform compact apartment footprints into open, breathing spaces. Our design focus is on clever planning and honest materials that ensure your home feels expansive, functional, and deeply personal.

In this apartment foyer, a transparent screen of metal rods separates the entrance from the sacred puja room, creating a visual partition that maintains a sense of openness. The design layers modern materials with traditional art and warm wood flooring.

A bold, red lacquered glass backsplash adds a vibrant splash of color to this otherwise all-white modern kitchen. This accent feature creates a strong focal point and brings energy to the compact apartment space.

This custom foyer unit is a composition of interlocking wooden boxes, creating a play of solid volumes and open voids for displaying art and artifacts. It serves as a functional and sculptural focal point at the entrance of the home.

A custom-designed chest of drawers, crafted from wood with a sleek metal frame, acts as a functional divider between the living and dining areas. It defines the space without creating a solid visual barrier.

This living room showcases a harmonious blend of textures, from the fluted wood wall panels to the soft, earthy tones of the furnishings. Pendant lights made from banana fiber cast a warm, inviting glow over the space.

The dining area is subtly demarcated by a screen of slender vertical metal rods, which provides a sense of separation without obstructing light or views. A marble-topped dining table adds a touch of elegance against the engineered wood flooring.

A corridor lined with family photos leads to a quiet study nook, demonstrating how we design homes that can be personalized over time. A large mirror at the end of the passage creates an illusion of extended space.

About this collection

In compact apartments, solid walls often obstruct light and disrupt the flow of daily life. Instead of permanent partitions, we utilize slender metal screens or custom-height cabinetry—like a chest of drawers placed between zones—to demarcate living and dining areas. This technique preserves the visual connection across the room, ensuring your home feels expansive while maintaining clear functional boundaries for each activity.

For us, designing an apartment is an exercise in editing. We look for ways to maximize utility without sacrificing the character of the space. In our 'Ha:Bi Home' project, we replaced traditional layout rigidities with a composition of volumes and voids, allowing the family to personalize nooks for art and quiet reflection.

Our Material Palette

We believe in the honest expression of materials. In our compact projects, we lean heavily on:

  • Warmth through Wood: Engineered wood flooring provides a seamless base, making smaller rooms feel unified rather than fragmented.
  • Light & Metal: We use custom-fabricated MS (Mild Steel) rods and screens. These act as architectural dividers that filter light rather than blocking it.
  • Tactile Details: We incorporate cane paneling, fluted wood walls, and raw concrete textures to add depth. These materials age gracefully and bring a necessary earthiness to high-rise living.

Designing for Growth

An apartment should not feel static. We plan for the future by creating 'blank' zones—walls for family photos, dedicated art nooks, or study corners—that allow the home to grow with your family's evolving needs. We avoid trend-heavy decor in favor of timeless, functional pieces, such as integrated shelving and multi-purpose consoles. Whether you are living in a high-rise in Bengaluru or a standalone apartment, our goal is to create a home that captures your unique story in every square foot.
