Go Speed: Our Training & Championship Journey
I am Amit Khanna. This is a look at what we do at Go Speed—the raw training, the specific drills, and the champions we build on the track.
The race is often won or lost in the first few seconds. I teach my athletes the three most common mistakes beginners make at the start, focusing on correct hand and leg opposition, foot placement, and body angle to ensure an explosive takeoff.
This is what it's all about. The nervous energy of parents, the focus of the athletes, and then the pure joy of a clean sweep. Here, our girls took home both Gold and Silver in the 60m sprint, a testament to their hard work and race-day execution.
A truly proud moment for me as a coach, standing with my para-athlete at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games. We work with every kind of athlete, and seeing их junoon (their passion) translate to success on the international stage is the biggest reward.
Hurdle drills are not just for hurdlers; they are essential for every runner. We use these drills to improve hip mobility, coordination, and rhythm, which are key to developing a faster, more efficient sprint.
I call this the magical workout. Downhill running, done 10-15 days before a competition, forces your muscles to adapt to a faster speed. It's a scientific way to break plateaus and find that extra gear on race day.
Speed isn't just about running; it's about power. We use resistance training with drag sleds to improve acceleration and build the raw strength needed to drive through the first 30 meters of a sprint.
*Bachpan ki aadat sabse important hoti hai*. We make fitness fun for our youngest athletes. It's not just about drills; it's about building a love for movement, competition, and being part of a team.
About this collection
Speed is not just about raw effort, it is about biomechanics. When you look at our training, you will see us using drag sleds and resistance bands not to tire you out, but to fix your acceleration mechanics and stride length. We train with a purpose—every drill, from the start block to the finish line, is designed to shave those critical milliseconds off your time.
At Go Speed Sprint Academy, we do not believe in generic fitness. We believe in performance. Whether you are training for the 100m, 200m, or hurdles, my approach is scientific and targeted. We use drag sleds, parachutes, and specific downhill drills to force your muscles to adapt to faster speeds. This is not for everyone; this is for those who are serious about competing.
We operate across key locations in Delhi NCR, including IIT Delhi and GD Goenka, Vasant Kunj. My philosophy is simple: bachpan ki aadat sabse important hoti hai (habits formed young last forever). That is why my youth program is structured to build technique early, while my competitive groups undergo rigorous, season-based cycles—off-season strength training followed by in-season speed work.
We don't just focus on the legs. We work on the mental toughness required to stand on a starting block when the pressure is high. From our para-athletes who have conquered the Asian Para Games to the kids taking their first steps on a synthetic track, we treat every athlete as a potential champion. If you are ready to put in the work, I am ready to guide you.
