About Residential Retreats
When we design a bedroom, the biggest fight is usually between the TV and the peaceful vibe you actually want. We don't just hang a screen on a wall. We build custom feature walls with nature-inspired murals that disguise the tech, so when it is off, the room stays a retreat and not a gadget store.
Designing Your Sanctuary
Your bedroom is the one place where you should be able to breathe. That is why we focus on 'soulful' design—balancing functionality with the kind of comfort that makes you want to stay in bed a little longer.
Materiality and Texture
We are big believers in the Wabi-Sabi approach. In our retreats, you will see us using raw, honest materials. Think woven textures on wardrobe doors, limewash finishes on walls, and patterns that mimic nature. We avoid materials that look 'manufactured' or cold. The arched wall panels you see in our renders aren't just for decoration; they create a rhythm that helps the eye rest, making the room feel enclosed and secure.
The Bathroom Connection
We treat the attached bathroom as an extension of the bedroom, not a separate utility zone. If the bedroom has a tropical mural, you will see those leafy patterns carry through to the bathroom tiles. We use glass partitions to maintain openness, keeping the space bright while ensuring the wet and dry zones are technically sound. We do not just select tiles; we plan the drainage slopes and lighting to ensure the space is as easy to clean as it is to look at.
Our Process
Architecture is messy. There is dust, there is noise, and there are decisions to make about everything from flooring alignments to HVAC concealment.
