Stop forcing your body into poses it isn't ready for. Let's work on your range of motion and joint health with functional movement that actually feels good.

Mobility is key to everything we do. In this short video, I demonstrate a few essential mobility drills that I include in my warmups. These movements help improve your joint range of motion, prepare your body for a workout, and aid in faster recovery.

Exploring the basics of Animal Flow. This is a ground based, bodyweight movement system that combines elements of different disciplines to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Here, I'm practicing a basic combo.

This wild thing pose, or Camatkarasana, is a great example of combining strength and flexibility. It opens up the chest and shoulders while strengthening the arms and back. It's a beautiful expression of power.

Demonstrating a side lunge, or Skandasana, which is excellent for opening up the hips and stretching the inner thighs. Poses like this are essential for maintaining lower body flexibility, especially if you do a lot of strength training.

A short clip from a yoga session, moving from a chair pose (Utkatasana) to a forward fold (Uttanasana). This flow helps build strength in the legs and core while releasing tension in the back and hamstrings.

Here I am leading an online yoga class, demonstrating the downward dog pose. You can see my clients following along on Zoom. Whether in person or online, I make sure everyone gets the guidance they need.

Holding the dancer's pose, or Natarajasana. This is a challenging balance pose that improves focus while stretching the shoulders, chest, and thighs. It's a perfect blend of grace and strength.

A deep stretch in the one legged king pigeon pose. This is an intense hip opener that I guide my clients through carefully. It's amazing for releasing stored tension in the hips and improving flexibility.

The child's pose is a restorative posture I use in almost every session. It's a simple but powerful way to gently stretch the back, hips, and thighs, and to calm the mind after a tough workout.

Leading a Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation flow for my online class. This sequence is a fantastic full body warmup that connects breath with movement, preparing the body and mind for the day.

About Mobility, Flexibility & Flow

Most of us carry our day-to-day stress in our hips, shoulders, and lower back, especially if you spend hours at a desk. I don't just teach you to stretch, I teach you to move. In my sessions, we use a mix of Animal Flow and mobility drills to actually unlock your joints, rather than just holding a static pose. This is functional movement that helps you stay pain-free, whether you are training at the gym or just trying to get through your workday.

Mobility is the unsung hero of fitness. You might be lifting heavy or running fast, but if your joints aren't moving through their full range, you are setting yourself up for an injury. My approach to flexibility is about building a body that can handle real life.

Why I Focus on Flow

I incorporate systems like Animal Flow and dynamic stretching because they force your body to work in multiple planes of motion. It is not just about being flexible, it is about being in control of your limbs. We use techniques like:

  • Joint Mobilization: Specifically targeting the hips, ankles, and thoracic spine to counteract 'desk posture.'
  • Functional Transitions: Moving from the ground up, just like we did as kids.
  • Postural Correction: Using poses to fix imbalances caused by sitting or poor lifting form.

Training in Noida & Greater Noida

Whether we are working in a partner gym or virtually, the focus is always on your biomechanics. I don't give cookie-cutter routines. We record your sets, break down the movement, and adjust based on your body's feedback. If your hips are tight from too many squats, we adjust. If your shoulders are locked up, we focus on mobility flows to open them.

The 'Dukh, Dard, Peeda' Reality

Look, true progress requires some effort. Sometimes we will be deep in a hip opener that feels intense, and sometimes we will be doing flows that make you sweat in ways you did not expect. That is okay. My job is to guide you through that discomfort so you can come out stronger on the other side. Let’s get you moving better.
