My Mumbai Art Studio and Exhibition Highlights
Welcome to my happy place. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at my creative process in my studio and my experiences showcasing work at art festivals.
Hello! I'm Palak, the artist behind the strokes. My work is all about bringing emotions to life on canvas through vibrant colors and intricate details.
A photo from the first day of 2020. I'm so grateful for everyone who supports my artistic journey. Your encouragement truly fuels my passion and inspires me to create new work.
A look back at my time at the India Art Festival. It was an incredible experience to showcase my work, meet fellow artists, and connect with so many art lovers.
This is a corner of my studio, filled with a few of my completed paintings and blank canvases ready for new ideas. I'm obsessed with this wall!
Another view of my studio wall, showcasing a mix of still life, abstract, and spiritual paintings. On the right, you can see my shelf of paints and supplies.
A real behind-the-scenes moment from when I used to work from home. My cute niece often made an appearance during my photoshoots!
This is what happens when you try to work from home with a toddler around. It’s a fun challenge, but I'm so happy to have my dedicated studio space now.
About My Studio & Exhibitions
I share my creative process for every commission, from the initial sketch to the final varnish. You will receive photos as the layers build up, allowing you to watch your painting come to life before it is safely packed and shipped to your home.
After a break for motherhood, stepping back into my dedicated studio felt like coming home. While my niece still makes the occasional appearance in my life, having a focused space allows me to fully commit to the 50 to 100 hours of detail required for complex oil portraits and textured palette knife pieces.
My studio is where I experiment. Whether I am working on a spiritual Buddha painting, a landscape inspired by travels to Venice, or a high-detail figurative commission, the process remains the same. I utilize underpainting to establish the tonal values and then layer professional-grade oils or acrylics to create depth. For those commissioning 2025 projects, this means you are not just getting a finished canvas. You are getting a piece that was built with intention.
My experience exhibiting at events like the India Art Festival has taught me how much energy and emotion can be transmitted through a single wall of paintings. I bring that same discipline to my custom work. If you are looking for a statement piece for your boardroom or a quiet, soulful canvas for your living room, we start with a consultation to align on the vision, color palette, and scale. My goal is to create something that feels like it belongs in your home, not just something that looks good on mine.
