About Custom Canvas Paintings

I’m Palak, back in my studio after a break for motherhood, and honestly, painting is my happy place. When I create custom canvas paintings, it’s all about capturing your story or emotion - not just “pretty art”. I go all in with every piece, sometimes getting a bit obsessed with the details, and I love seeing how the final painting fits into your home.

What I Paint Most

• Spiritual canvas art (think Krishna, Buddha, Mahavir Swami)
• Scenes from nature and travel - forests, snowy mornings, Venetian canals, or custom nature artwork like abstract seascapes
• Florals and wildlife - magnolia blooms, horses, anything lively and detailed

My Process

• We chat about your ideas and what you want to feel when you look at the painting
• I start with sketches and an underpainting to set the mood and basic structure
• Layers of color and details get added (I’ll send you photos as it grows)
• Realistic portrait painting or impressionistic textured art, depending on your vibe

Mediums & Styles

• Oil and acrylic on canvas
• I love realism and hyperrealism, but sometimes I go for textured palette knife or fluid abstracts
• Monochrome pieces for drama
