Unarmed Combat and Functional Fitness Training in Mumbai
This isn't about looking good in a mirror. It's about building the power, reflexes, and mental toughness to handle real-world situations, whether that's at the dojo or on the street.
A strong, straight punch is one of the most important tools in self-defense. We drill the basics until they are perfect, focusing on power and precision.
Holding pads for a student. This allows them to practice striking with full power while I check their form and technique.
Practicing combinations on the pads. This drill helps build muscle memory, so you can react instinctively in a high-stress situation.
A powerful side kick drill. Kicks can be very effective for keeping distance and generating force. We train to make them both strong and stable.
Another angle of the side kick, showing the importance of proper form and balance. This is how you build functional strength for self-defense.
My "Friday Fight Your Fear" session is all about facing challenges. We use gloves, pads, sticks, and knives to develop gross motor skills that work under real stress.
My kickboxing is for martial arts, not just fitness. We add resistance and focus on explosive movements to build functional power for self-defense scenarios.
About Unarmed Combat: Power & Fitness
You won't find treadmills or mirrors here. My sessions focus on high-repetition pad work, stress testing, and functional drills that actually translate to the street. Whether you are 18 or 80, I design the curriculum to match your current fitness, not some impossible standard. You will sweat, you will learn, and you will leave knowing exactly what to do when things get unpredictable.
I do not teach for trophies or rings. The street has no referee, and it certainly does not follow sports rules. When we work on unarmed combat at my Bandra dojo or out in the fresh air at Powai Forest Park, we are building muscle memory that holds up under pressure.
My system is a hybrid approach. I take the striking of kickboxing, the tactical defense of Krav Maga, and the close-contact throws of Japanese Jujutsu, and I mix them based on what you actually need. If you cannot be safe, you need to be ready to protect yourself. We start with personal safety awareness—teaching you how to spot trouble early and walk away—before we ever throw a punch.
We utilize heavy pad work, weapon simulations, and scenario-based training. This forces your body to react instinctively. I am not here to sell you a gym membership; I am here to help you become your own bodyguard. If you are tired of fancy, non-effective routines and want training that works in the real world, this is where you start. Whether you choose our group combat subscription or private 1-on-1 coaching, the goal remains the same: practical, effective skills for any age and any ability level.
