About Unique & Fusion Creations
My fusion pieces require the same meticulous process as traditional works. Whether I am incorporating Hampi ruins into a folk scene or painting a symbolic contemporary portrait, I apply the same 24kt gold leaf and gesso embossing to ensure the 3D texture is perfect.
I believe that Mysore painting is a living tradition. While the gods and goddesses form the core of my work, exploring new ideas allows me to connect this ancient art form with the world we live in today.
My fusion process starts with hand-sketched layouts. If you want to blend traditional motifs like Hoysala temple carvings or the stone chariots of Hampi with a contemporary subject, we can discuss the composition. I use heritage mounting boards and acid-free materials to ensure these pieces last for generations.
For example, I once painted a map of India featuring a symbolic portrait of Elon Musk. It was my way of showing how our spiritual heritage exists alongside modern progress. I treat these unique requests with the same devotion as my deity portraits. Every detail, from the jewelry embossed in gesso to the final watercolor strokes, follows the strict rules of the Mysore style.
