I bring India’s rich heritage into your home with hand-painted Mysore-style art and spiritual Pichwai canvases, each piece crafted with patience and devotion.

My largest Pichwai canvas to date, standing tall and ready to be shipped to a client. This piece features the traditional elements of cows, a stylized palm tree, and lotuses under a starry night sky.

A full, straight-on view of the large Pichwai canvas. The deep blues and vibrant green create a stunning contrast, making it a powerful centerpiece for any room.

A close-up of my completed Mysore-style painting of the goddess Saraswati. This traditional art form is known for its delicate lines, intricate details, and the use of real gold foil.

I was so honored when a client took my Kedarnath painting all the way to the Kedarnath temple. This video shows the painting in its spiritual home, a truly blissful moment for me as an artist.

The creation process of the Kedarnath painting, from the initial sketch to the detailed rendering of the temple and the majestic Himalayas in the background.

A smaller Pichwai painting on canvas, commissioned as a housewarming gift. This piece captures the serene scene of cows gathering by the water under a starry sky.

About Traditional & Spiritual Art

Mysore-style art is a labor of love, requiring delicate gold leaf work and meticulous layering that can take weeks to perfect. When I work on these traditional pieces, I don't just paint; I focus on preserving the heritage I grew up with in Mysuru, ensuring that the final canvas—whether a deity or a spiritual landscape—feels like a piece of history for your space.

Creating traditional art is our way of slowing down. Whether it is the intricate gesso work found in authentic Mysore paintings or the soft, storytelling visuals of a Pichwai canvas, the process is always deliberate. My husband Supraj and I believe that spiritual art should not just fill a wall, but bring a sense of calm to a room.

We start by discussing the story you want to tell. Are you looking for a serene Pichwai scene featuring cows and lotuses, or perhaps a portrait of a deity that holds personal significance? Once we finalize the layout and mood, I begin the layering process. Traditional Mysore pieces require incredible patience—the gold foil work is delicate and needs time to set, while oils or acrylics on canvas are built up slowly to achieve depth.

Why choose a hand-painted piece?

  • Authenticity: We use high-grade artist materials that last for generations, not just digital prints.
  • Customization: Want a specific spiritual motif or a particular color palette to match your mandir or living room? We build it around your vision.
  • Process-Driven: From the initial sketches to the final archival varnish, you get a glimpse into how your art evolves.

We ship our canvases across India, carefully packed to ensure the details arrive untouched. If you have an idea in mind, let’s chat about bringing that traditional touch home.

I’m Sharanya, and I live for the slow, meditative process of traditional art. My husband Supraj and I pour our hearts into every stroke, whether we're recreating a classic Pichwai scene or capturing a spiritual memory on canvas.
