About Live Performances & Theatrical Productions
Why We Perform
For us, being on stage is less about perfection, more about being real. Every show is a chance to connect, to let the body speak when words fall short. I see performance as a journey, not just the big finish - and honestly, sometimes the nerves are real, but so is the rush.
Our Performance Platforms
- FIRA: Our annual community dance showcase, where dancers from all levels hit the big stage. Loads of energy, everything from Indo-Fusion to Tribal Fusion Belly Dance. Even if you mess up, you leave smiling.
- The Lost Diaries: This one’s an immersive dance theatre piece - two hours of movement, storytelling, and raw emotion. It’s not just a show, it’s a feeling that sticks.
- Uncut: A super chill artist expression platform. Happens every two months, invite-only. Dancers, poets, anyone can try out new stuff without worrying about judgement.
- Mélange: Celebrates the growth of our Toolbox course grads. Small, but the vibe is electric - everyone’s rooting for each other.
Getting on Stage
Our performance batches are for anyone wanting to be part of a student stage production. We train hard, focus on stage presence, storytelling, and honestly, how to just have fun up there.
Where It All Happens
Smaller stuff is at our Domlur and Indiranagar studios - feels like home. Big shows? We go all out with venues like Prabhath Kaladwaraka and Shoonya Space, so the stories get the stage they deserve.
If you’re looking for experimental performance nights or just a place to share your story, you’ll fit right in here.

My Story
We’re Dhurii. We started out with a simple Indo-Fusion batch—Kathak, folk, belly dance, Bollywood, all mixed up. It wasn’t just about steps, it was about stories, real smiles, the vibe. People came for 5:30 am rehearsals, not just to dance, but to be together. Over time, we listened deeper. Women shared about pain, old wounds. So Dhurii grew—now it’s dance, meditation, womb wisdom, healing. Here, you show up as you are. That’s what matters.
