I host Latin dance socials and parties in Bangalore every Sunday for all levels, with Salsa and Bachata music, occasional themed events, and sometimes workshops or performances.

Weekly Socials Entry Ticket
Access & F&B
- Entry: Access to social dancing event typically from 9:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
- Cover Charge: Includes a mandatory cover component (approx. INR 300 value) fully redeemable against food and beverages at the venue.
- Venue: Premium pub setting on Residency Road with dedicated wooden or tiled dance flooring.
Experience
- DJ Sets: Live music by professional DJs focusing on Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba.
- Workshops: Access to a pre-social teaser workshop (30 to 45 mins) if scheduled for the night.
- Crowd: Open floor partner dancing with advanced dancers and instructors.

Why I Do This
Dance is my way of connecting with people, not just teaching steps. I want you to feel the energy, the fun, and the madness that happens when we all hit the floor together. My 'Salsa stars' know - it's not about being perfect, it's about being a pataka (firecracker) and owning your vibe.
What Happens at LA RUMBA
Every Sunday, we throw open the doors for LA RUMBA - our main Bangalore dance party. The crowd is a mix: newbies, pros, and everyone in between. The music? Mostly Salsa and Bachata nights, sometimes Kizomba if the DJ is feeling adventurous. Sometimes we get surprise workshops or performances - I love jumping in with Sai for those.
Themed Latin Dance Events
A few times a year, we go wild with themed parties at our Koramangala studio. Think Halloween with costumes, live bands, games, and all the snacks and drinks sorted. You just bring your energy and show up.
Beyond Bangalore
I’m always looking for ways to connect our social dancing community to the bigger world. We travel for dance weekends, perform at international Latin dance festivals, and bring back fresh ideas for everyone.

My Story
Hi, I’m Kirthi! Dancing’s been my heartbeat for 15+ years, always with my partner-in-crime, Sai. We’ve stumbled and soared together, from being nervous at Sydney Salsa Congress to finding our groove. Off the dance floor, you’ll find me in the middle of shaadi ka season (wedding season), glamming up with my girls, or snuggling my furballs Bella and Maximus. Dance, family, and my dogs – that’s my happy mess.
My Work
Latin Dance Classes & Socials - I teach Salsa beginner classes, Bachata, and Kizomba workshops. We welcome everyone, from newbies to pros. Social nights are a blast!
