Uncut is our bi-monthly, invite-only space for raw artistic expression. Dancers, poets, and storytellers gather here to share works-in-progress, test new ideas, and build community without the pressure of judgment.

About Uncut: A Space for Raw Artistic Expression
You won't find polished stage lighting or rehearsed final acts here. Uncut is dedicated to the 'rough drafts'—the raw, honest concepts that are still finding their form. We keep the audience small to protect the vulnerability of our performers. Whether you are an artist ready to test a new idea or someone looking to witness genuine, unfiltered stories, this is where you can show up exactly as you are.
A Sanctuary for the Unfinished
At Dhurii, we believe that art is most powerful when it is real, not perfect. We created Uncut because we saw a need for a platform where the process matters more than the outcome. This is a non-commercial, intimate space in Domlur where the barrier between performer and audience dissolves.
What to Expect
Our sessions are bi-monthly and intentionally kept intimate. You might see a contemporary dancer testing new choreography, a poet reading a piece written that morning, or an actor practicing a monologue. The setting is minimal—often involving floor seating and cushions—to foster a sense of closeness and mutual support.
How to Participate
Because we prioritize the comfort and safety of our artists, these events are invite-only and operate on a voluntary contribution basis.
- For Audience Members: We limit the audience size to maintain the sanctity of the showcase. Please RSVP early when we announce new dates to secure your spot.
- For Artists: We are always looking for new stories. If you have a concept, a work-in-progress, or an idea that needs a safe audience, reach out to us. We select pieces based on the concept and available time slots.
This is not about putting on a show for the sake of entertainment; it is about community building, healing, and sharing the parts of ourselves that don't always get a stage. Come prepared to listen, watch, and be part of a supportive creative circle in Bengaluru.
