About Dining Tables & Chairs
When you are looking at dining chairs, ignore the glossy fabric for a moment and look at the frame. I use solid teakwood or reinforced PVD-coated metal bases, and I use a three-layer foam sandwich on the seats to ensure you do not feel the wood underneath after six months of use. Most market-bought sets prioritize the outer look, but I prioritize the foundation so your chair stays sturdy for years.
In my Mumbai workshop, I focus on the basics of good furniture: solid materials and proper construction. For dining tables, I work with natural and artificial marble like Nano White or Kalinga stone, often paired with SS 304 PVD-coated metal bases in gold or rose gold finishes. If you prefer a traditional look, I have solid teak wood options with hand-finished carvings.
My dining chairs are designed to be used daily. Whether it is the 'Geneva' design with its curved, supportive back or the 'Leon' chair with dual-texture fabric, I ensure the padding remains comfortable. I use high-density 40D foam for the core and a softer top layer, which gives that sink-in feel without losing its shape.
Everything is customizable. You pick the fabric, whether it is velvet, boucle, or leatherette, and the wood polish, whether it is walnut, natural, or matte black. If you have a specific space constraint, like a small apartment or a large dining hall, bring me the measurements, and I will build a set that fits perfectly. No mass-production tricks, just furniture made to last.
