About Sofas & Sectionals
Most online sofa deals rely on cheap frames and low-density foam that will sag within months. I build every piece using chemically treated Sal wood frames and a three-layer sandwich foam core (40D, Bonded, 32D) that guarantees 5-7 years of firmness. This is the difference between a sofa that looks good for a week and one that stays comfortable for years.
When you buy a sofa, the outside finish is the least important part. The real quality is hidden inside, and that is where most people get cheated. In my workshop, I use 18mm commercial plywood and solid Sal or Marandi wood for the frame to ensure it handles daily use without creaking or breaking.
The Foam Matters
I use a specific 'sandwich' technique for the seating.
- Base Layer: Rebonded foam (80-100 density) for structural support.
- Core Layer: 40 Density High Resilience foam for longevity.
- Top Layer: 32 Density foam for comfort.
This combination prevents the 'sinking' feeling common in cheap, mass-produced furniture. Whether you want a classic Chesterfield, a modern L-shaped sectional for your family, or a compact two-seater for your office, I make it from scratch. You choose the fabric—Velvet, Suede, or Boucle—and I ensure the stitching is tight and the piping is perfect.
