Custom Lounge & Accent Chairs Built in Mumbai
Don't get fooled by online pictures. I build custom lounge and accent chairs in my Mumbai workshop, using solid wood frames and real, long-lasting foam.
This is one of my favourite designs, a lounge chair upholstered in a beautiful bouclé fabric. The unique, sculptural form and solid wood legs make it a true statement piece for any living room or building lobby.

About Lounge & Accent Chairs
Stop looking at just the fabric color. When you pick an accent chair, check the frame. Most ready-made ones use pine or ply scraps that wobble in a year. My lounge chairs are built on solid Sal or Marandi wood frames. If you want a chair that actually supports your back and lasts, you need to ask about the internal structure before you buy.
When you visit the market or browse online, everything looks polished. But an accent chair is meant to be sat on, not just photographed. Most deals you see on Instagram use thin foam that goes flat in three months and internal frames made from flimsy particle board. That is not how I work.
I build every chair in my Goregaon workshop from scratch. For these lounge chairs, I use a specific 3-layer sandwich foam core (40D+Bonded+32D) that keeps its shape for years. The frame is reinforced Sal or Marandi wood, so you won't have the chair wobbling or squeaking after a few uses. Whether you want a mid-century modern replica with an exposed wooden frame or a fully upholstered bouclé lounge chair, I handle the measurements and material selection personally.
You can choose your own fabric, like velvet, bouclé, or high-traffic leatherette, and I will ensure the finish is tight.
