About Custom Beds & Headboards
Before you finalise a design, ask exactly what is underneath the fabric. Many ready-made beds look premium in photos but are built using cheap particle board that sags within a year. In my workshop, I use 18mm commercial-grade plywood and solid Sal wood frames for every bed. You can come see the frame before we upholster it, because that skeleton is what determines if your bed lasts five years or just one.

The Anatomy of a Durable Bed
- Structure: I use 18mm commercial plywood (IS:303 grade) for the main box. I never use particle board, which crumbles when it gets humid.
- Hydraulic Systems: My beds feature heavy-duty gas lift pumps with a 150kg+ capacity. You want to open your storage daily without struggle, and these mechanisms are built for that daily grind.
- The Headboard: Whether you want a simple vertical channel tufting, deep buttoning, or a floor-to-ceiling designer headboard, I build the core padding using 40-density HR foam. It provides real back support when you sit up to read or watch TV.

- Bring Your Vision: You have a photo or a sketch? Perfect. I don’t just copy the look; I understand the dimensions and make it fit your bedroom size.
- Material Check: We select the fabric—velvet, suede, or boucle—and the wood finish together. No surprises.
- Workshop Visit: You are welcome to check the raw frame at my workshop before we close it up with upholstery.
